Many astronomers often overlook the fact that both the Calcium H-line and K-line offer virtually indistinguishable views of the Sun.
While Solar researchers favor the K-Line for CCD imaging due to its research applications, some older astronomers miss out on the lower wavelength with Calcium K-line filters.
To address this, we proudly present our higher wavelength Calcium H-line filters tailored for visual observers, ensuring a broader clientele can revel in the wonders of Calcium!
Designed specifically for use on F/7 or longer focal ratio refractors, users can enjoy a hassle-free experience.
Simply insert it into your diagonal, add an eyepiece, and start viewing. For short focal ratio refractors, a 2x or 2.5x Powermate ensures optimal performance.

- Filters the Calcium H line at 3968.5Å with an approximate 5Å Full Width Half Maximum (FWHM)
Eyepiece Snout and Compatibility:
- Features a 1.25" eyepiece snout with a safety indent slot for easy insertion into your diagonal or focuser
- Offers a standard 1.25" eyepiece drawtube output with the option to use 2" accessories
- Equipped with a brass compression ring to safeguard your eyepiece
Power Options:
- Powered via USB (5v, 1.5amp) and includes a 90-240VAC wall adapter with international plug adapters
- Optional 8-hour battery pack available for enhanced portability
Filter Configuration:
- Incorporates an integrated 25mm blocking filter with a 21mm clear filter aperture
- Does not include Barlow or focusing elements
Refractor Compatibility:
