Vixen APZ-A80Mf 80mm f/11.4 Refractor Telescope - ES25843-SO
A great starter telescope for beginners.
A combination of a 80mm achromatic refractor and a simple and easy-to-use "Alt-Azimuth" mount that comprises parts of the AP equatorial mount.
It is suitable for observation of bright planets, nebulae and star clusters.
Features:
- APZ Mount: With smooth friction control mechanism of the APZ mount, the telescope can be moved quickly by hand to your target object. Lightweight grab-and-go telescope to take it anywhere.
- Derived from the transformation of the AP Mount: The mount is composed of sectional modules and units that can be easily upgraded to an AP equatorial mount with additional components.
- Sealed Ball Bearings: The sealed type ball bearings are used for movable parts to eliminate from mixing in dust particles and offer excellent durability. It ensures smooth rotation of an optical tube loaded.
- Decent 8kg Loading Weight: The rigid body and sealed ball bearings allows for using a VMC telescope with 200mm aperture.
- A80Mf OTA: An achromatic refractor with a multicoated 80mm objective lens that allows sharp views of the moon and planets.
- APP-TLL130 Tripod: A highly compact and lightweight tripod combining durability and ease of use. The tripod legs can be extended to 130cm long or retracted to about 60cm long for storage. The spike of the leg is protected with rubber covering and it allows for using the tripod according to your set up environment.
