Lunt LS50 THa

This is my first foray into solar telescopes. After a fair bit of research I decided on this scope as the best value for the money. I was told that I was put on the build wait list and it could be up to 3 months. I was pleasantly surprised when my order showed up in about 1 month. Instructions were clear, and I was up and running after a short time. The scope shows surface details, flairs, and prominences. I created a composite image to show the surface details and prominences in a single frame. Looks impressive for a first try.

I’m impressed enough that I ordered the double stack filter! Arriving soon.
