12 x 50 binoculars have been a popular choice size of binoculars for decades, and it is easy to see why. With 50 mm of light-gathering capability in each eye you will see fantastic detail in everything you observe, especially when compared to mini binoculars. With 12 x magnification and big optics, you can see visually the delicate features of a bird´s feathers, or watch your favorite quarterback go back for a pass even from the “cheap” seats. Here are some of the features you will enjoy with the APM 12 x 50 MS ED APO Binoculars:

Amazing Optics: The heart of a pair of binoculars is always the optics. Aesthetics of a pair of binoculars will not matter, if the binoculars themselves do not provide a clear, sharp, true color image of the world around you. APM’s Magnesium Series Binoculars, regardless of their magnification or aperture, always use quality ED glass (FK61) and BAK-4 prisms to yield high contrast, tack-sharp images over their entire field of view. Coupled with special coatings on all optical surfaces, the final result is enhanced producing true-to-life color with every viewing!

IPX-7 Water Protection: The International Electro-technical Commission, or IEC, classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion of water into a system that would suffer from damage should such an situation arise. The APM ED APO 12 x 50 Binoculars have an IPX-7 rating, meaning they are capable of withstanding water entry for up to 30 minutes in 1 meter of water. We realize this sort of mishap will most likely not happen, but this superior protection will keep your binoculars safe even if they get rained on or splashed with water.

Rugged, Lightweight Body: APM Telescope’s binoculars have a body made from Magnesium, the lightest of the metal elements. Magnesium is noted for its strength and resistance against corrosion and the binocular body itself is over-coated with a rubber armor; offering further protection for the binoculars and ensuring a slip-resistant grip without adding much weight. Focus is achieved by adjusting each eyepiece individually so that you can match your unique vision precisely. A tripod adapter port is located on the bridge and is covered by a metal beauty cap. To access the port, simply unscrew the cap and attach the included tripod adapter.

Good Eye Relief: The APM Telescope’s 12 x 50 Magnesium Series Binoculars have very comfortable eye relief. The term “eye relief” refers to where your eye will need to be placed to see the full image being produced through the binoculars. The lower the eye relief, the closer your eyes will need to be when positioned against the eyepiece. If you happen to wear eyeglasses and wish to observe with them on, eye relief becomes very important. Since APM Magnesium Binoculars have great eye relief, all will you have to do if you want to wear glasses during viewing is to fold down the rubber eye cups. For non-eyeglasses wearers, keep the eye cups unfolded.

Shipping to the UNITED STATES (Lower 48 States):

We offer Free U.S. Shipping on most orders over $100 USD. Some limitations may apply. 

Shipping to CANADA:

We currently offer Free Canadian Shipping on most orders over $100 USD. Some limitations may apply.

Order Confirmation:

After your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email, which will contain your Order #. After your payment is processed, your order will typically ship within the next 1-3 business days (excluding Holidays) for US orders & Canadian orders.

Shipping Times:

Shipping times can vary depending on the product that you purchase. In most cases, you will receive your product(s) in around 3-5 business days after it has been shipped - for US orders, and 5-10 business days - for Canadian orders. Your order will typically ship using either FedEx or UPS.

Faster Shipping Requests:

Tracking Details:

After your order has been shipped to the final destination, regular tracking updates will be sent to the email address that was used to place the order.

After you receive your Tracking #, it may take up to 24-48 hrs for the Carrier to display Tracking updates.

Order & Pre-Order Cancellation Requests:

Any orders and/or pre-orders that haven't shipped yet, but that are cancelled & refunded by request of the customer, may be subject to a minimum 5% re-stocking fee. The re-stocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

Custom Engraving/Artwork:

If you purchase a product from us with a Custom Engraving option selected (such as text engraving or artwork engraving, we will reach out to you right after your order is placed to request your engraving instructions. 

If we do not receive your engraving instructions within 2 business days after we request them, we will proceed with shipping your order without engraving. If you receive your order, and decide that you would like engraving, you will be responsible for shipping the product back to our facility in order to have the engraving completed. 

Returns & Refund Policy

We believe in the brands that we work with and the products that we sell. And we want YOU to be 100% satisfied! This is why we offer a 30-Day Return Policy for the vast majority of the Brands/Products that we carry. See below for details regarding products that do NOT qualify for our 30 day Returns Policy.

Processing Returns (IMPORTANT):

To initiate a return, you MUST obtain an RMA number and the correct return address from us (we will provide both of these). Any returned shipments that do not contain a valid RMA number will not be accepted. NOTE: Items must be returned in their original packaging and condition.

Returns:

If you would like to return your purchase for any reason within 30 days of receiving the product(s), we can only grant a refund if the items are returned in their original packaging and condition. To confirm that products are in their original packaging and condition, we may ask you (the customer) to provide photographs of the items before they are returned to us. 

Refunds will be issued after the warehouse receives, inspects and processes your return (this may take upwards of 5-7 business days). 

The customer will be responsible for covering both the return shipping costs with FedEx or UPS, as well as the shipping costs associated with originally shipping the item(s) to them (the customer). Additionally, a minimum 5% re-stocking fee may apply.

Exchanges:

If you wish to exchange the item for another product within 30 days of receiving it, we can likely wave any shipping & re-stocking fees for you. However, in some cases, these fees may still apply. Please email us for full details at support@redcarpettelescopes.com. 

Product Condition:

When you receive your product(s), you should immediately inspect it to ensure that nothing is damaged or that your shipment isn't missing anything (additional products or accessories).

If you notice any damage upon delivery, please send photos to support@redcarpettelescopes.com as soon as possible and we will make the arrangements necessary to have your product returned, and have a replacement shipped to you at no extra cost!

Brands/Products that do NOT qualify for our 30 Day Return Policy:

Full Moon Optics

Full Moon Optics products do not qualify for our 30 day return policy. However, they instead qualify for a 14 day return policy. 

APM

APM products do not qualify for our 30 day return policy. However, they are covered by APM's 2 year limited warranty. 

Athlon Optics

Athlon Optics products do not qualify for our 30 day return policy. However, if a product has a manufacturing defect or is damaged, we can have the product returned, repaired, and shipped back to you (alternatively, we can have an entirely new replacement product shipped to you) - as per Athlon's Lifetime Warranty. 

Konus

Konus products do not qualify for our 30 day return policy. However, most of the Konus products that we carry include either a 2-year warranty, or lifetime warranty.

First Texas Products (Night Owl Optics / Bounty Hunter / Teknetics)

First Texas Products (Night Owl Optics / Bounty Hunter / Teknetics) do not qualify for our 30 day return policy. However, most Night Owl Optics, Bounty Hunter, and Teknetics products carry a minimum 1 year warranty (with some products carrying a 5 year warranty).

Newcon Optik

Newcon Optik products do not qualify for our 30 day return policy. However, all Newcon products carry a comprehensive 1 year warranty. 

Refurbished Products

Refurbished products do not qualify for our 30 day return policy. All sales are final. 

Custom Orders

Additionally, items that are special ordered, customized, or engraved - cannot be returned or refunded under our 30 day return policy. 

If your engraved item needs to be repaired within 30 days of purchase, please reach out to us and we will have the product repaired or replaced, re-engrave if necessary, and return it to you in mint condition!

Your product is not only warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. Athlon will also repair or replace, at no charge to you, your product if it becomes damaged through normal use. No receipt needed, no registration required. APM:

APM products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. 

BARSKA:

Barska being the manufacturer outlet honors Manufacturer warranties for Repair and/or new Replacement after the 30 day Standard Return Policy is expired. Please read the Warranty Card enclosed with product for details.

LEVENHUK:

All Levenhuk Telescopes, Microscopes, Binoculars and other optical products, except for accessories, carry a Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Lifetime warranty is a guarantee on the lifetime of the product on the market. All Levenhuk accessories are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for six months from date of retail purchase. Levenhuk will repair or replace such product or part thereof which, upon inspection by Levenhuk, is found to be defective in materials or workmanship. As a condition to the obligation of Levenhuk to repair or replace such product, the product must be returned to Levenhuk together with proof of purchase satisfactory to Levenhuk.

This warranty does not cover consumable parts, such as bulbs (incandescent, LED, halogen, energy-saving and other types of bulbs), batteries (rechargeable and non-rechargeable), electrical consumables, etc. 

LUNT SOLAR SYSTEMS:

This Warranty is extended by LUNT Solar Systems LLC to the original purchaser of the LUNT Solar Systems LLC product. LUNT Solar Systems LLC does not provide warranty service to used or second hand equipment. Lunt Solar Systems LLC warrants its products to be free of manufacturing and workmanship defects under normal use for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. LUNT Solar Systems LLC will repair or replace such product or part thereof which upon inspection by LUNT Solar Systems LLC, is found to be defective in materials or workmanship.

This warranty does not extend to any product whose serial number has been defaced or altered, or to any product which LUNT Solar Systems LLC determines to contain a defect or malfunction caused by damage while in the possession of the consumer, this includes de-contacting of etalon. De-contacting of the etalon only occurs if the product is subjected to shock, i.e. dropped and/or banged. The above descriptions may include incorrect installation, maladjustment, misuse, negligence or servicing by the consumer, or by a failure on the part of the consumer to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. Further, LUNT Solar Systems LLC reserves the right to disallow any products from warranty coverage that are deemed to have been received by the end customer in other than factory-sealed condition. All products are to be inspected by the customer when purchased. LUNT Solar Systems LLC is not responsible for damages or loss during the shipping process.

WEEMS & PLATH:

More than half of Weems & Plath products carry a lifetime warranty, while other products carry a 2-year warranty. 

WARRANTY RETURNS:

To initiate a return on an item that is covered by warranty, you MUST obtain an RMA number and the correct return address from us (we will provide both of these). Any returned shipments that do not contain a valid RMA number will not be accepted.
