Newtonian telescopes reflect light using a concave primary mirror, and a flat diagonal secondary mirror. Chromatic aberrations or color fringing is eliminated when using a reflector telescope. Some of the best research telescopes are reflectors. Sir Isaac Newton's invention lives on.
